
The word “Abhay” has its origins in Sanskrit, an ancient language of India. In Sanskrit, “Abhay” (अभय) is a compound word formed from “a” (अ), meaning “without,” and “bhaya” (भय), meaning “fear.” Therefore, “Abhay” translates to “fearless” or “without fear.”
Growing up in a conservative society can be challenging for those who are curious. Asking questions makes people confront history and challenge their views. While ignorance might be bliss, awareness brings responsibility. I believe everyone should have an opinion about the world and be open to having it challenged through dialogue.
